What Our Customers Say Means a Lot to Us

“…my experience has been very favorable…”

All I can say is that I’ m baffled by the comments below, namely the ones targeting Larry and the staff at Allied. This is the 2nd year that I’ve trusted my Saturn’s care to their team. My experience has been very favorable. The kind staff at Allied runs a relaxed pressure-free facility. Their team members do customers the courtesy of speaking in layman’s terms, when explaining things related to their car. They also seem to be tenacious in their convictions to getting things right. Since Saturn discontinued its’ brand, I’ve taken my car to several maintenance and repair shops. Some were o.k. and some were not so o.k.. With Allied, I’ve been able to find a team that knows my maintenance schedule and actually charges less than what the dealer’s maintenance facility used to charge. Yes, this is not a quickie lube shop. They do take a bit of time to perform their services, but I believe the service is worth the wait. Written upfront estimate, Written Guarantee and Courteous Service = Peace of Mind. Next to me, Allied Service Center is my ’99 Saturn’s newest best friend!

Thank You, Ty, for the review. Larry

“…they treat me like family…”

Took my 2004 Yukon and wife’s 2006 Honda Ridgeline to Allied June, 2010 – found Allied on internet. I quickly learned that Larry and Staff fully live up to their 5 star reviews. Allied is family owned and they treat me like family. Smart, competent, honest, and really care. I am a “car guy” – over 60 – used to do a lot of my own car repairs/maintenance. My experience with dealers over the years has been mostly impersonal, poor service (too much guessing) and too expensive. Allied’s estimates are always accurate – and if they discover other problems they call and discuss. They charge reasonable prices. They never try to sell unnecessary parts or services – unlike the dealers. Car repairs are never cheap – it is true that you get what you pay for. Allied hands you a written guaranty when the work is done. They know my name when I walk in and I never have to wait long if at all. Usually same day service. They provide a ride if needed. They have earned my trust and confidence – they are my only shop now and I refer all my family and friends. I have had minor and major repairs and maintenance on both trucks with great results. We drive a lot out of town and keep the trucks in top condition through this shop. Their quality service gives me peace of mind when driving freeway speeds in our hostile climate. I recommend Allied without hesitation or reservation. Not one problem or complaint in 18 months with them. Almost unheard of in this day and age.

“…we give this shop the thumbs up…”

When our Honda broke down in las vegas, we found Allied Service on our cell phone. Larry helped us find a tow service. When we arrived at Allied, Troy told us we would have to leave our car overnight, since it was late in the afternoon. They took us to the hotel. Next day, we were told we had a leaking radiater. They replaced the radiator and also a thermostat. Troy also recomend we have the hoses replaced soon, due to age. We were back on the road within 24 hours. We completed our trip and made it back to California with no other car problems. Although we lost a day of vacation, it turned out ok. We give this shop the thumbs up!!

Thank You James for the review

“…great work and job well done…”

While heading home south of the I-15, my check engine light went off! A flashing MIL code P0304 with some hesitations on a full stop. I told my wife that this doesn’t look good, especially on this 105 degree heat. Okay, we so checked-in for one more night, had a hearty buffet and searched the web for a AAA recommended repair shop that PM. Than by next AM had it towed to Allied Automotive Repair, at Desert Inn Road. Told the technician about my problem, a MIL with a P0304 (from my OBD-II code reader) and some hesitations on idle. They ran some diagnostics, and called me back at our hotel room and found a cracked coolant reservoir leaking on cylinder 4. Had the job done by 3pm, and arrived back at LA by 7-8PM. Great Work and Job well done! Thanks guys, should give you more stars than a five!! Stefan, from Pasadena, Ca.

Response from Allied
Thanks Stefan– was good to hear from you!

“…I highly recommend Allied…”

Yesterday I had my Mustang routine maintenance done by Allied and was once again pleased with the cost, time to complete and the friendly service. They even offered a ride home and a return pick-up. Does not get much easier. I highly recommend Allied.

“…the best service…”

Allied Service Center provides their customers with the best service. They make it easy for you to drop off your cars and they even come and pick you up when the car is ready. I have been coming to Allied for over 10 years and could not image going any where else.

- Antoinette (Via Google)

Response from Allied
Thanks Toni, for the kind words…

“Great Service!!”

Great Service!! Stopped going to the dealer with my Town and Country. Just had brakes done at Allied. Easy to drop off and they picked me up when the van was done. Troy was up front with what we needed, and the brakes do not make that grinding noise anymore.

- Jeff (Via Google)

“Thanks Guys.”

Went to Allied thinking the starter was going on my truck. Turns out to be my two year old interstate battery. Allied replaced the battery did a systems check on my 1999 truck found no other problems. Also pro rated the interstate battery so the cost was less than half of the new one. honest work. Thanks Guys.

“…Allied should be your choice…”

Allied has maintained my Toyota Highlander so well that at 111000 miles I feel it will continue for another 100000 miles. The team led by Rick & Larry are knowledgable and efficient. Wether it is routine maintenance or a correct diagnose of a continual problem, Allied should be your choice.

“…I’m real glad that they are now my mechanic…”

My Plymouth Voyager had recurring brake problems. Over the course of years I had them fixed so many times only to have them wear out again in six months. Finally, I took my car to Allied and told the whole sorry story to Larry. He explained what might be the problem. My brakes were fixed and I have not been back for a brake job for over a year. No one else could fix the problem but they did. They gave me a ride home all the way back to North Las Vegas and picked me up when my car was done. I’m real glad that they are now my mechanic.

Response from Allied
Thank You Marelyn, I hope the van is running ok Larry

“…they have never steered me wrong…”

I have taken my Town and Country van to A-Allied for 5 years they have never steered me wrong. Have always called to let me know what is wrong and what the estimated cost would be. I wouldn’t take my car any place else. If you want over charge go to a dealer. I was referred by a someone who has gone there for over 10 years.

- Jan N. (Via Google)

Response from Allied
Hi Jan, Thanks for taking the time to write about us. Larry

“…I will never use another mechanic…”

I have been a customer of A-Allied Service for at least 9 years. They received my loyalty because they were able to diagnose a fuel pump problem on my Ford (and finally fix it!) that the dealership could not fix, even after many, many tries. In total frustration with the local Ford dealerships I looked in the phone book and picked A-Allied Service. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am to have found them. I NEVER took my car back to Ford, even though I still had an extended warranty, and I will never use another mechanic. Allied Service is fair in price and extremely fair in covering their own work. Finally, an auto shop I can trust and that I feel extremely comfortable to recommend to friends & family.

- Deb P. (Via Google)

Response from Allied
Thanks Deb for your continuing loyalty, Larry

“…very pleased with their service…”

I have lived and worked here in Vegas my entire life. A-Allied was recommended to me by another auto shop and I have been going there for years. they understand the problems i have had with my vehicles and I have been very pleased with their service. I have even recommended them to my other family members and friends.

- Mike C. (Via Google)

Response from Allied
Thanks for the letter Mike, Larry

“…finally a reliable repair shop…”

Finally a reliable repair shop in LV! After moving to Las Vegas 4 years ago upon retirement, I have burned by allegedly reputable repair shops on 3 ocassions. This time my A/C compressor on my Sable had died from clutch failure. Easy to diagnose – when not engaged it sounded like a cement mixer. Troy took my details and the shop even gave me a ride home. They called with confirmation and prices. They came in on the money and pointed out a few other maintenance issues which I was aware of. They did a good job with fair prices for the job tackled. I will be back there since a Ford dealer I was going to try gave no answers and would not take the vehicle in for another week. Allied is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. In this case worth every cent!

Response from Allied
Thanks Dan, for the feedback, Troy

“Thanks guys!!! :)”

After being totally disrespected and played as a fool in military uniform at JIM MARSH KIA (centenial prkwy), I found Allied on Google. I called and let Larry know what I thought the issue was with my 08 Caliber and its Electronic Throttle Light turning on after going on high altitude drives. The dealership wanted me to pay 600.00 for an entirely new throttle body, with out checking the sensors in the throttle body or running the TCM/PCM updates on the car’s internal computer system. Larry was surprized that the dealer would not even mention trying the updates first and instructed me to bring it in the next morning. When I brought it in, all I had to say was the Caliber and Larry knew who I was and my story, no need to repeat it. Once the car was maintanced, and they were able to get the car back to me early the next day. Larry also printed out an informational bit on my car, including what was done, and what to do if the light turns on again, since it seems to be a Dodge malfunction, due to all the forums I read and people had the same exact problems. He also let me know that the car had never had any updates since it was made, MEANING that crooked dealership never even updated the car when the sold me the used car exactly one year ago. Not to mention Larry ran all the updates, including a full saftey and break inspection and flushed and replaced the power steering fluid for less than HALF of what the dealership wanted. Too bad I have to relocate from Vegas, I would honestly pay Allied than try to claim my warranty at that horrible dealership. Thanks guys!!! :)

“…they know what they’re doing…”

Satisfied, grateful to find a place where they know what they’re doing. I had a running problem with my Tahoe and I took it to 2 places, one being the dealer. Both said that I needed a lot of work, but both gave different answers. I felt uncomfortable so I called AAA and one of the shops they recommended was Allied. After listening to my long, sad story they took it in and did not want to look at the other shops’ diagnostics to make sure they started fresh. I’m glad they did it that way because all I needed was a fuel regulator and spark plugs at about half the cost. The other guys said that I needed a crank sensor, cat convertor, tune up, and oxygen sensor.

“…extremely professional and knowledgeable…”

Best service center. My Chevy Malibu engine had to be rebuilt from top to bottom. Thanks to Mike and his technicians, my car is running better than it ever has before. Everyone there was extremely professional and knowledgeable and great with communicating with their customers. I am recommending A Allied to everyone who needs any vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work. We will no longer use any other company

“Allied was very kind…”

Thank You. My mother lives in Las Vegas and she is 82 years old. She had been taken advantage of before by mechanics. Allied was very kind towards her and communicated the problem to me every step of the way. I double checked what they were telling me with my local shop in Illinois and Allied was spot on with their diagnosis and price. And after the job was done they picked up my mom for free. It made it a lot easier.

“…thank you is in order…”

A quick thank you is in order here. I took my Nissan Altima to Allied after the dealer and another shop kept my car for a week. They had it back to me the next day for exactly what they said it would cost. The problem was solved because they checked the Nissan Bulletins and did not waste my money guessing. THANKS!!!

- Anonymous (Via Google)

“…thanks for fixing my car…”

All I wanted to say was thanks for fixing my car and being straight with me. This was the first time a shop ever talked me OUT of doing something. I had my car looked at another shop and so I did not want to pay for another diagnostic, but Allied talked me into it, and I am glad because my $1900 estimate was reduced to $420. Car runs good!

“…this is the place for you…”

I was at work and needing to schedule an appointment. Found the shop as usual on Google and noticed the reviews. As a long time customer I felt compelled to offer my experience. Being born and raised in Las Vegas I’ve seen hundreds of companies come and go and if family owned business like Allied can stand on its own for over 30 years I think that says a lot about how they treat customers. Personally, I’ve had everything from a simple oil change to a full blown complete engine rebuild on my car and everything in between. My family, my extended family and even friends have been referred to them without one single complaint. In fact everyone goes back because its so hard to find a good, honest shop in town. Anyhow, if you’re looking for a place you can trust your car with time and time again along with 3 decades of customers to prove it – this is the place for you.

“…a shop that cares…”

HAPPY AS A CLAM!!! Its nice to finally find a shop that cares if people are happy and use their service again. They just made it easier. I brought my car in, they took me to work, called me with the estimate and finally fixed my 2003 Malibu which had been to three other shops trying to get fixed. They did recommend some other maintenance but were not pushy and told me that I could wait until I could afford it and didnt try to scare me. When the car was finished, they sent a driver over and picked me up. What a relief to be driving without worry! Thanks… art

“… I’ll know where to take it…”

My family and I travel to Las Vegas at least 4 times during the year. I hope I don’t have another breakdown on my next trip, but if it does luckily I’ll know where to take it for repairs. The car worked great the whole trip.  Great Job!

- Arturo Z.

“…it’s so nice to know you all care…”

Dear Mike, Rick & Allied Team,

Thank you so much for all you have done for me and my mom.  We appreciate it more than you know.  The car runs great!  My mom and I have nobody else to help us, so it’s nice to know you all care.  Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much we appreciate all you’ve done.

- Lyria & Dody Hall

“… they treat me fair…”

Family run. They treat me fair.  I’ve referred probably 10 different friends and family here over the years and everyone goes back. You can trust them.

“… did not waste my money…”

A quick thank you is in order here. I took my Nissan Altima to Allied after the dealer and another shop kept my car for a week. They had it back to me the next day for exactly what they said it would cost. The problem was solved because they checked the Nissan Bulletins and did not waste my money guessing. THANKS!!!?

“… a good family run business…”

Always skeptical about getting my car fixed but these guys made easy and friendly work of my problem. I have been in town since 1991 and wished I had known about them before. It’s nice to find a good family run business instead of a franchise with disengaged employees.

- Marcus E. (via Yahoo.com)

“… a girlfriend referred me …”

I’m a woman so always feel shy when getting my car fixed.  A girlfriend referred me to Allied Service Center because they are AAA (I am a member).   They are professional, don’t talk down to me and treat me right every time I bring my Nissan Xterra in for service.  I pay-it-forward and tell others about them and now I’m telling you.

“…these guys are great…”

These guys are great! Friendly, competent & organized. I had a weird problem that happened infrequently. It was refreshing to have someone LISTEN and get my concern understood so I didn’t have to waste anymore time and money. It turns out I had a common problem with my wires and they had my car back to me in a couple of days. They said it would have been sooner but they were pretty busy when I came in.Believe me, two days without my car was way better than the month of grief I went through trying to find someone like these guys (and gals too)!!

- Beth

“…call so we can help…”

Because of their positive reviews I trusted these guys few months ago. About two months ago I took my car to replace my leaking radiator. Now it’s leaking again. They said they replaced it with brand new radiator. New radiator last two months? What a scam. I’m never goin back again. Never trust there postive reviews because more likely it is written by themselves. Go to the Better Business Bureau website and find an honest mechanic with A+. Never trust these guys again.

- Zackary

Response from Allied
This post makes no sense to me. Zackary, if this is not a spam posting, please contact us. All the radiators we install are new.( I think we have only sent 2 out for repair in the last 3 years, but they were the older metal radiators). If you could identify yourself(email if you like), I will look up your ticket. You should have a warranty for 1 year or 12,000 miles on your repair, parts and labor. If your radiator is leaking, I would encourage you to call so we can help. I will wait for your call. Thanks, Larry
